Citizen has announced that the Gen-2 CZ Smart smartwatch it unveiled back at CES 2023 is now available to buy.
Available in three styles - Sport Touchscreen, Casual Touchscreen, or Hybrid - prices begin at $350 and stretch up to $435 for the new range, with Hybrid Sport styles being added later this year.
As detailed back in January, you'll gain access to Citizen's new NASA-designed wellness features no matter which device you choose.
This new “self-care advisor” uses IBM Watson-powered AI learning to establish patterns of fatigue and alertness, and then feeds the findings into the CZ Smart YouQ app for deeper analysis.

The watch spends 10 days monitoring your sleep to identify your unique Chronotype (circadian rhythm) and then marries this with data from its Alert Scores.
These are driven by a dumbed-down version of NASA’s Psychomotor Vigilance Task Test, which was developed at its Ames Research Center Fatigue Countermeasures Laboratory.
The watch then delivers personalized “Power Fixes” to improve alertness and try and build better long-term habits to reduce fatigue.
It sounds fascinating – and we can’t wait to give it a try.
But a fancy new advisor isn't the only compelling aspect of the Gen-2 CZ Smart range.
For those choosing a touchscreen version, Wear OS 3 will be the operating system of choice.
This means the device comes pre-loaded with the likes of Strava and YouTube Music, and can also check out the wide range of Wear OS 3 apps if you want to make the most of the device.
Given that the original CZ Smart arrived back in 2020, we're glad the much-needed follow-up is now live.
And with plenty of unique features to dive into, and it adds another compelling option to the ever-growing list of Wear OS 3 watches on the market.
