Two of Garmin's most premium outdoor sports watches have received a hefty early Black Friday discount, with Amazon offering the Epix Pro (Gen 2) and Fenix 7 Pro for at least a $200 discount.
Released earlier this year, both watches represent the current pinnacle of the Garmin watch lineup - and this is the first major discount we've seen given to either watch.
- Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) 47mm - $695 at Amazon
- Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) 42mm - $695 at Amazon
- Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) 51mm - $795 at Amazon
At the time of writing, every version of the Epix Pro (Gen 2) - differentiated from the Fenix 7 Pro by its AMOLED display - is available for at least $200 off.
This means that you can choose from either the 42mm, 47mm, or 51mm case size - and also have the choice of selecting either the standard glass or sapphire versions. Each case size also has two colors to pick between.
Currently, the 42mm and 47mm Epix Pro (Gen 2) are available for $695 - reduced from the typical RRP of $899 - while the 51mm edition can be snapped up for $895, down from $999.
It's a very similar pattern if you're shopping for the Fenix 7 Pro. This is essentially the same watch as the Epix Pro (Gen 2), except for the fact that it features a more battery-efficient memory-in-pixel display.
Like the Epix Pro (Gen 2), each of the three case size versions has hit the early Black Friday sale here - including some of their corresponding solar or sapphire models.
- Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Solar (47mm) - $595 at Amazon
- Garmin Fenix 7S Pro Solar (42mm) - $595 at Amazon
- Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Solar (51mm) - $695 at Amazon
The cheapest is the smaller Fenix 7S Pro Solar and the standard, 47mm Fenix 7 Pro Solar, which are both available for $595 (reduced from $799).
For the sapphire editions, this stretches to $699, though this is still a reduction of $200 on the typical asking price.
The larger Fenix 7X Pro sees the same chunky discount, too - down to $695 from its original $899 RRP.
We've spent considerable time with each of these watches in 2023 - and we grade them as two of the very best options for outdoor sports, running, cycling, and, well, pretty much everything else tracking-related.
As ever with these early Black Friday deals, however, it's not clear how long the savings will stick around.
We expect them to be floated around Black Friday proper - not just in this preamble period - but we would always recommend pulling the trigger on a deal this good if you've been waiting for one.
And that's especially true given that as we don't expect to see either watch reduced much further (if at all) as we edge toward the end of November.
