After recently teasing its arrival, Huawei spin-off Honor has officially unveiled the Honor Band 6, which it says is the first fitness tracker to pack a full-screen display.
The budget fitness tracker features a 1.47-inch, 194 x 368 resolution AMOLED touchscreen display, which is a pretty major leap in size from the 0.95-inch AMOLED screen on the Honor Band 5.
What's clear from the now official pics is that the bigger display certainly gives it a look that makes it look very similar to the Watch ES hybrid fitness tracker and smartwatch Honor unveiled back in September this year.

Away from that bigger display, the Band 6 comes in three different band color options and features a physical button to offer an alternative way to interact with the tracker. It's also water resistant up to 50 metres making it suitable for swimming and jumping in the shower with it.
There's Huawei's TruSeen optical heart rate monitor to take care of continuous monitoring and tracking during exercise with 10 sports modes supported. It will also be able to take blood oxygen measurements with accelerometer and gyroscope motion sensors on board to track activity.

Honor is also offering a NFC version of the Band 6, which also brings contactless payments. That model also benefits from access to a smart assistant too.
In terms of battery, there's a 180mAh capacity battery, though no details on how long that will keep you powered for. The Band 5 promised 14 days battery, so whether the 6 will be able to offer something similar with a significantly larger screen will be interesting.
Unsurprisingly, this is a tracker that's set to launch in China first. It's priced at 249yuan, which works out to roughly . If you opt for the NFC version, that pushes thing up to 289yuan (about .
The Honor Band 5 launched at , so those conversions suggest it's still very much a budget tracker option.
There's no detail as yet on a launch outside of China. The last Band did eventually arrive in other territories, so we imagine the 6 will follow suit too.
