Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi appears on the cusp of releasing its Smart Band 2 fitness tracker in Europe.
The second-gen band was only announced in China at the end of December alongside the Redmi Watch 3, but details have already emerged pointing to a wider rollout being imminent.
According to leaked material shared on Twitter, shown below, the Redmi Smart Band 2 will retail for €34.99 - translating to roughly around £30 / $38.
And, as shown off in the initial reveal, the Smart Band 2 joins the recent bandwagon of fitness trackers featuring a bigger display. At 1.47 inches, this one looks much more like a smartwatch than old-style budget trackers.

Whereas similarly designed devices like the Huawei Watch Fit 2 and Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro are only available for around the $100 / £100 mark, however, this kind of price point would prove much more accessible.
With features like SpO2 readings, 14-day battery life and continuous heart rate monitoring, as well, it appears to stack up pretty well on paper.
Naturally, we're expecting some drop-off from those more premium models in the performance or build quality, but we'll save those judgments for our extended test and review.
And as we await a more official confirmation of the Smart Band 2's release, we'll also be awaiting the global rollout of the Redmi Watch 3.
As mentioned, this debuted alongside the Smart Band 2, but the leaked marketing material doesn't appear to include it.
Only time will tell if it'll receive an extended launch at the same time or be held back as an exclusive to China, but we'll provide an update when we know more.
