Wahoo Fitness is set to make indoor cycling training more hardcore with its new Kickr Climb indoor trainer grade simulator.
The simulator setup, which works with its Kickr and Kickr Snap smart trainers can respond to real roads and climbs in workouts and virtual courses by adding physical grade changes through its new Kickr Smart Trainers.

The Kickr Climb raises and lowers the front fork of your bike and can match ascents up to 20% and descents of -10%. So you'll give those legs a proper workout all without having to brave the elements.
As well as offering compatibility with Zwift and TrainerRoad training platforms, there is also the option to 'lock' the setup so it'll only respond to commands from the bar-mounted remote. That means the indoor ride can manually adjust the grade with a press of a button. It'll also work with Wahoo's Element and Element Bolt cycling computers to let you relive ascents and descents from previous rides.
In terms of bicycle compatibility, the Climb supports wide range of modern hub configurations including quick-release, 12x100, 15x100, and 15x110 thru axle hubs.
If you want to take your indoor training to the next level, the Kickr Climb is landing this autumn brandishing a £449.99 price tag. If you don't already have the Kickr or a Kickr Snap setup, then be prepared to spend a whole lot of cash to get that immersive experience.
