To the surprise of absolutely nobody, it appears that 'Google Pixel Watch 2' will be the name of the company's next Wear OS smartwatch.
That's according to the ever-reliable Evan Blass, at least, who has posted an image containing the moniker on Twitter without comment.
With the Pixel Watch 2 expected to be teased at Google I/O on 10 May in a similar fashion to how the original Pixel Watch was last year, Blass presumably wanted to get the jump on this one.
However, aside from the very predictable name, no more information relating to the watch was released in this latest leak.
This is a little surprising, given the wild extent of leaked information before last year's event, and means we currently have very little idea about what upgrades the Pixel Watch 2 will actually boast.
With this latest scrap, though, it appears almost certain that Google won't look to name the upcoming smartwatch something like the 'Google Pixel Watch (2nd gen)', as it has with some smart home devices.
And if other rumors are to be believed, it'll actually release later this year - likely in October once again - alongside the Pixel 8 smartphone series.
